Position: Personal Assistant to the Ambassador
Type of employment: Part-time employment for 1 year with the possibility of extension
Starting date: 1st of June 2025
Location: Danish Embassy in The Hague

The Embassy of Denmark in The Hague is looking for a PA to the Ambassador. The Embassy consists of 4 departments and 20+ employees. As PA to the Ambassador, you will be part of the administrative team, which interacts with all colleagues at the Embassy.
Your duties will also include tasks related to the day-to-day running of the Embassy.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- PA tasks related to the Ambassador’s function, including minor financial tasks
- Managing the Ambassador’s calendar, arranging meetings, and conducting minor research
- Event planning, coordination, and execution
- Performing smaller administrative tasks for the Embassy as part of the administrative team
Qualifications
- Relevant education and/or professional experience with PA tasks
- A positive, open-minded, and proactive attitude
- A high sense of responsibility and a strong flair for creating structure in a busy environment
- Flexibility and attention to detail
- Great interpersonal skills, team player abilities, as well as interest in and willingness to share knowledge with and learn from colleagues
- Full command of English and preferably Dutch. Knowledge of a Scandinavian language will be considered an advantage.
- IT proficiency
Employment conditions
- We offer part-time employment for 1 year with the possibility of extension
- Your standard working hours will be 25 or 30 hours (to be determined), 5 days a week
- Your salary will reflect your responsibilities, qualifications, and experience
