Energy Governance Partnership
The Energy Governance Partnership (EGP) aims to drive decarbonisation efforts in the energy sector through Dutch-Danish bilateral cooperation. The aim of the cooperation is to build valuable partnerships between Dutch and Danish authorities on the path towards a clean energy future.
The cooperation focuses in particular on regulatory and framework conditions for district heating and energy efficiency. Experience and best practices are shared through workshops, webinars, conferences, and study trips with policymakers, experts and industry representatives.
On the Danish side, the programme is rooted in the Ministry for Climate, Energy and Utilities, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Danish Energy Agency and the Embassy of Denmark in the Netherlands.
Denmark currently has partnerships with 8 countries under the Energy Governance Partnership Programme.
An overview can be found here – Country Cooperation. For any inquiries related to the Energy Governance Partnership in the Netherlands, please reach out to the Energy Advisors of the Embassy.
