Denmark and the Netherlands have close political ties. The Embassy strives to strengthen and develop these. The Embassy also represents Denmark in a number of international organisations based in The Hague, such as the International Court of Justice, the International Criminal Court, the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
