Danish Embassy in the Hague seeks Administrative Officer

The Danish Embassy in The Hague seeks an Administrative Officer to join our small, efficient administrative team. The Embassy is relatively small (in total 12 colleagues and 3 interns) and the atmosphere is friendly and informal.

 

 

Tasks:

  • Assist in day to day administrative tasks, including HR
  • Assist in property management and facility administration (e.g. maintenance, renovation of the embassy and the residence, inventories, purchasing/acquisitions)
  • Assist in administration of posted staff, including e.g. moving, CD-registration and housing
  • Assist in consular and cultural matters
  • Other administrative tasks, when colleagues need a helping hand

Qualifications:

The below qualifications are requested, but are not necessarily mandatory:

  • Relevant education or/and professional experience in administration and HR management
  • Capacity to work independently and efficiently
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to follow up on pending tasks
  • Written and spoken proficiency in English. Knowledge of Danish and/or Dutch will be an asset

Terms of employment:

We offer a 22 hour working week under local terms and conditions. Salary will be according to qualifications.

 

 

Start:

The 1st of November 2016, or shortly thereafter.
